How to make your mascara last the whole night long

STEP ONE
Wipe over your lashes with some micellar water (about £1 on amazon) to remove any previous makeup that may be remaining, so you have totally clean lashes.
STEP TWO
Be really careful with this part, grab yourself some eyelash curlers. I use the tweezerman pro curlers (i'll link them below), it is always good to keep these clean or replace the curler pads with new ones so there is absolutely nothing on them.
Using a hair dryer warm up your curlers for 10-20 seconds, you can also do this by placing them in hot water for 10-20 seconds.
BE VERY CAREFUL...you need to allow them to cool down, so much so it doesn't hurt to touch the metal part of the lash curlers. Once they feel cool enough, curl your lashes for around 30 seconds.

STEP THREE
Apply your mascara, I know there is a hundred million options of mascaras that all promise different benefits, I've seen people use two or three and layer them up to get all the benefits, you don't need to do this! If you have a decent mascara you shouldn't even need to layer it up much, its worth investing in a good one!
So I am going to share the best mascara ever for lasting all day!! My all time fave, Its the only one I have in my bridal makeup kit as it is waterproof and of course long wearing - very important for an emotional day!!

That is simply it! I never use a lash primer, I haven't found one that has added any benefits to what I do above, I prefer to layer up my mascara until I am happy with it. I also find whenever I have used a primer it has made my lashes clumpy.
TIPS -
You should replace your mascara every 2-3 months. If you find it drying up, pop a couple of eye drops into your tube and use your wand to wiggle it around the edges, it will be as good as new and pro-long the use of your mascara!! And finally, if you use a setting spray use this before applying your mascara to avoid them getting wet.
